    SEE ALSO...

ACPL2 Antibody (H-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ACPL2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ACPL2 (H-4) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ACPL2 protein, also known as acid phosphatase-like 2, UNQ370, or PRO706, is a 480 amino acid secreted protein that catalyzes the hydrolysis of phosphate monoesters into alcohol and inorganic phosphate, a process vital for energy metabolism and signal transduction. ACPL2 is expressed in two alternatively spliced isoforms and is encoded by a gene located on chromosome 3, which harbors over 1,100 genes, including those associated with critical tumor suppressor functions and various genetic diseases. ACPL2′s presence in the extracellular environment suggests involvement in intercellular communication and potential implications in cancer biology, as enzymatic activity may influence tumor progression and metastasis.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-377262 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: Randy McDonald
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
