SEE ALSO...

Clb3 Antibody (C-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Clb3 of Saccharomyces cerevisiae origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Clb3 antibody (C-2) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Clb3 plays a crucial role in cell cycle regulation, particularly during G1 to S phase transition, where Clb3 associates with cyclin-dependent protein kinase Cdc28. This interaction ensures cells only replicate DNA when ready, preventing errors that could lead to genomic instability. Clb3 expression, along with other cyclins, undergoes tight regulation through ubiquitin-mediated proteolysis, mediated by proteins such as Ubc9 and Cdc34. Such regulation maintains precise cell cycle event timing and coordinated cellular processes, highlighting Clb3′s importance in cellular proliferation and overall organismal health.
