Cofilin 1 Antibody (5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects Cofilin 1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Cofilin 1 antibody (5) is available as both non-conjugated and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Cofilin 1 plays a crucial role in regulating actin dynamics, which is essential for various cellular processes, including motility, division, and apoptosis. Cofilin 1 is primarily located in the cytoplasm, where Cofilin 1 interacts with filamentous actin (F-actin) to promote actin filament disassembly, facilitating rapid cytoskeleton remodeling. Cofilin 1′s ability to bind F-actin is vital for maintaining cellular integrity and function, allowing cells to respond to environmental cues and adapt shape and movement accordingly.
