SEE ALSO...

HSP 27 Antibody (F-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects HSP 27 (HSPB1) protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). HSP 27 (F-4) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. HSP 27 plays a crucial role in cellular stress responses, acting as a molecular chaperone that helps maintain protein homeostasis by preventing aggregation and facilitating proper protein folding. This function is particularly important in protecting cells from damage during stress conditions, such as heat shock or oxidative stress, which can lead to cell death if not properly managed. HSP 27 interacts with various proteins involved in signaling pathways, including those related to apoptosis and cell survival, thereby influencing critical cellular processes. Regulation of HSP 27 by hormones and cytokines further underscores HSP 27′s significance in health and disease, including potential roles in cancer biology, particularly in breast cancer, where expression levels may correlate with tumor progression and patient prognosis.
