SEE ALSO...

JMJD8 Antibody (H-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects JMJD8 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-JMJD8 antibody (H-4) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. JMJD8, also known as Jumonji domain-containing protein 8, consists of 334 amino acids and features a single Jumonji domain, which is crucial for its role as a histone demethylase. This enzymatic activity is vital for the regulation of gene expression, as JMJD8 modifies histones to influence chromatin structure and accessibility, thereby impacting cellular processes such as differentiation and development. JMJD8 is located on human chromosome 16, a region associated with various genetic disorders, including giant axonal neuropathy and Rubinstein-Taybi syndrome, highlighting JMJD8′s importance in maintaining normal cellular function and potential implications in disease. Using JMJD8 monoclonal antibody (H-4) enables researchers to gain insights into the regulatory mechanisms of gene expression and the role of histone modifications in health and disease.
