SEE ALSO...

LRG1 Antibody (C-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 kappa light chain antibody that detects LRG1 protein of mouse and rat origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). LRG1 Antibody (C-4) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. LRG1, or leucine-rich alpha-2-glycoprotein, is a 347 amino acid secreted protein characterized by the presence of eight leucine-rich repeats and one LRRCT domain, which are crucial for mediating protein-protein interactions, signal transduction, and cell adhesion. LRG1 is primarily found in plasma and is notably expressed during granulocyte differentiation, highlighting LRG1′s importance in immune response and inflammation. The gene encoding LRG1 is located on human chromosome 19p13.3, a region known for housing numerous immunoglobulin superfamily members, which play vital roles in immune regulation. Understanding LRG1 function and interactions can provide insights into various biological processes and potential therapeutic targets, making anti-LRG1 antibody (C-4) an essential tool for researchers studying immune responses and related pathways.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-390920 P appropriate for?

Asked by: AbPolly
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
