MEF-2C Antibody (G-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects MEF-2C in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). MEF-2C (G-5) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The myocyte enhancer factor-2 (MEF-2) family, which includes MEF-2C, plays a crucial role in regulating gene expression during the development and function of T cells, neuronal cells, and muscle cells. MEF-2C monoclonal antibody (G-5) is essential for studying muscle differentiation and interactions with various myogenic regulatory factors, such as MyoD and myogenin, which are vital for the transition from mesodermal precursor cells to mature muscle fibers. The ability of MEF-2C to form homo- and heterodimers with other MEF-2 family members allows for a complex regulatory network that fine-tunes the expression of muscle-specific genes, highlighting its importance in muscle development and regeneration. Anti-MEF-2C antibody (G-5) enables researchers to gain insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying muscle differentiation and the broader implications for muscle-related diseases.
