PLC γ2 Antibody (B-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody designed to detect the human Phospholipase C Gamma 2 (PLCγ2) protein, also known as PLC-gamma-2 or Phospholipase C Gamma 2. PLCγ2 mouse monoclonal antibody (B-10) is raised against amino acids 826-985 of the human PLCγ2. PLCγ2 is a critical enzyme involved in intracellular signal transduction, where it catalyzes the hydrolysis of phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate to generate the second messengers inositol 1,4,5-triphosphate and diacylglycerol. These messengers play essential roles in various cellular processes, including calcium mobilization and the activation of protein kinase C, which are vital for immune cell function and response. PLCγ2 is particularly important in B lymphocytes, where it mediates B cell receptor signaling and influences immune responses. PLCγ2 monoclonal antibody (B-10) recognizes PLCγ2 from mouse, rat, and human origins. PLCγ2 antibody (B-10) is recommended for applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), making it a useful tool for researchers studying signal transduction pathways and immune mechanisms.
