ZW10 Antibody (3363C4a) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects ZW10 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and flow cytometry (FCM). Anti-ZW10 antibody (3363C4a) is available as the non-conjugated form. ZW10 plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate chromosome segregation and proper kinetochore function during cell division, which is vital for maintaining genomic stability. As a key component of the mitotic checkpoint, ZW10 interacts with centromeres during prophase and anaphase, and with kinetochore microtubules during metaphase, effectively preventing premature exit from mitosis. ZW10 localization is dynamic throughout the cell cycle, transitioning from the cytoplasm during interphase to the kinetochore and spindle midzone during metaphase and late anaphase, respectively. Additionally, ZW10 is implicated in membrane trafficking between the Golgi apparatus and the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) through interaction with the SNARE complex. Disruption of ZW10 expression, whether through overexpression or silencing, adversely affects the ER-Golgi transport system and alters the morphology of the ER-Golgi intermediate compartment, underscoring ZW10′s essential role in inter-compartmental protein transport.
